Prosecutors Seek Prison Sentence In Molestation Case Against “Squid Game” Actor
Prosecutors asked that O Yeong Su, who gained international fame for his role on Netflix‘s Squid Games, be sentenced to prison.
On February 2, Prosecutors asked a judge to sentence the actor to 1 year in prison for allegedly molesting a woman.
According to prosecutors, O Yeong Su molested a woman while drinking with her in 2017 and asked the judge for a harsh sentence, citing the actor’s refusal to repent.
The defendant expressed his lust for youth in a convoluted way while drinking with the victim in 2017. Even when texting his apology after being asked to by the victim, the actor claimed he did that because she was like a daughter to him in order to manipulate the victim and avoid taking accountability. Please hand down a strong sentence to the defendant who refuses to repent.

In his final statement, O Yeong Su is said to have asked the judge to make a wise ruling and stated that the case had ruined his life.
It is so difficult for me to stand before the court at my age. I feel my life has collapsed due to the fact that this is how I will end my life. I ask you to make a wise ruling.

O Yeong Su’s lawyers argued that the case lacked evidence apart from the victim’s statement and asked for their client to be declared innocent.
We can’t help but wonder if the crime could have even taken place, considering the location and time of the alleged crime occurring.
