(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Changed The Way She Distributes Parts Between The Members For Songs
As the talented producer and songwriter behind many of (G)I-DLE‘s songs, one of Soyeon‘s important tasks is distributing parts.
So when the Knowing Bros cast asked how she divides lines between the members, Soyeon was exhausted just thinking about it. She admitted it was “really hard” and shared the two different ways she went about it.
At first, Soyeon would “give a part that matches well with a member” or have a member in mind for a specific line. But now that the group is in its seventh year, she decided to make a major change.
Instead, Soyeon aims to get the members to try lines out of their comfort zone. She said, “I want to give changes now. So I looked at a part and thought, ‘I wish she would try this part,’ and shared like that this time.”
In addition to delivering songs that are a breath of fresh air, Soyeon has been pushing the members to higher heights by trying out lines they wouldn’t have otherwise.
