TRI.BE Member Breaks Down On Stage Following Shinsadong Tiger’s Death
The K-Pop industry has been mourning legendary producer Shinsadong Tiger ever since news of his demise came out on February 23. Amidst the grief, TRI.BE — the six-member girl group he co-produced — decided to grapple with the loss while bravely continuing their promotional activities.
The girl group’s recent appearance on SBS‘s Inkigayo turned into a heartfelt tribute to their late mentor and collaborator.
Earlier today TRI.BE took to the stage to present their fourth single “Diamond” on Inkigayo. Clad in somber black outfits adorned with white ribbons, the members stood united in their sorrow.
Not every moment, but everyday! 🤗#TRI_BE will be happier and strong! 💪🏼

This gesture mirrored their previous appearance on MBC‘s Show! Music Core, where they also wore white ribbons to honor Shinsadong Tiger.
Today was a hard, emotional day, but I couldn’t be more proud of TRI․BE and my fellow TRUE who shouted until our throats were burnt at Music Core. It is a small but truly passionate, caring fandom unlike anything I have ever been a part of.

During their performance, TRI.BE remained composed and focused — delivering their choreography with precision. However, as the performance concluded, Song Sun — the leader of the group — visibly struggled to hold back tears, sharing her grief with the audience.

Song’s vulnerable moment served as yet another reminder of the profound impact Shinsadong Tiger had on those he worked with. His sudden demise left a void in the hearts of not only TRI.BE but the entire K-Pop community — artists and fans alike.

It is very hard for an idol to perform in this situation by keeping all the pain beneath still keep smiling, and they did this to promote their producer’s last release.
