Fansite Somehow Shares Photos Of An Idol Taken During Class, Concerning Netizens

“This sh*t must be exhausting.”

Fansites are fans of idols who attend the idol’s schedule to capture high-quality photos and videos. Often, the content these individuals share is better than the official content shared by an idol’s company, capturing idols at their best moments for free.

However, there are negative sides to the services they provide, as some fansites go too far in their following of their chosen idol. This includes following them to unannounced schedules, harming others to capture photos, and other activities that lead to them being classified as sasaengs.

Recently, a fansite managed to leave fans confused and concerned after sharing photos of an underage idol during a class at school.

In 2022, following the survival series My Teenage Girl, the seven-membered girl group CLASS:y debuted.

Since their debut, many members have become adults, though several are still minors, including recently turned 17-year-old Riwon.

The young idol currently attends Hanlim Multi Art High School (also known as Hanlim Art High School), known for its many notable alumni. From time to time, idols who have already debuted deal with issues from their classmates but this was recently taken to a new extreme.

Along with Riwon, members Boeun, Seonyou, and other idols attended an entrance ceremony on March 3, where the media interviewed them.

A Riwon fansite called :D (Colon D) shared photos from this day, showing the idol seated in a classroom with her classmates. The idol looks directly at the camera, seemingly posing for the photos.

With the classroom being expected to be one of the few places an idol can have privacy, many netizens were shocked by the photos. Most wondered how they were taken, with the common explanations being that a fansite somehow snuck inside, the fansite was her schoolmate, or a schoolmate took the photos and sold them.

All these reasons involve the idol’s privacy being invaded while she should be able to focus on school in peace.

Earlier this year, a similar instance occurred when a fansite attended an idol’s elementary school graduation.
