Idol Boyfriend With Paralysis Addresses Whether He Is Able To Be Intimate With His Partner
Park We revealed he has no issues being intimate.
On March 6, the popular YouTuber was a guest on MBC‘s Radio Star.
During the episode, Park We, who recently made news after confirming that he was dating former Secret member Song Jieun, spoke about how open and honest he was about his disability. The YouTuber was previously involved in a major accident in which he lost the use of his legs.
My girlfriend Jieun told me that after she followed me on Instagram, she saw a post on her feed about how people who have paraplegia, or paralysis of the lower half of their body, used the restroom. I am that honest about my life.

Park We then went on to reveal his own ordeal with overcoming his disability.
At first, I also used a Foley catheter to use the restroom, but now, through rehabilitation, I am able to use a normal catheter. At first, I was ashamed and hid this, but I thought it shouldn’t matter whether I used the bathroom sitting down or standing up because I was using an instrument. This brought me to ease. I wanted to share this information to say that this wasn’t something to be embarrassed about.

The YouTuber then went on to state that he often gets asked whether he is able to be intimate with his partners due to his disability.
I get this question a lot. Can people with paralysis still be intimate? So I held a talk show with four men who had paralysis in their lower bodies, and we came to the conclusion that, yes, we are able to be intimate. This might be offensive to some, but I wanted to portray something so natural in a fun way.

Meanwhile, Park We suffered paralysis in his whole body after falling from the second floor of a building in 2014. Through rehabilitation for four years, he was able to regain function in his upper body and became popular after sharing his story on YouTube. The YouTuber then revealed in December that he was dating Song Jieun.
