In a statement posted to X, the company stated that the former idol’s contract had since been terminated, and the remaining members have plans to continue their activities.

“Hello, this is NatureSpace.

First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your unwavering support for VI’ENX. We have an announcement regarding VI’ENX’s Wonjin. We would like to inform you that as of March 8, 2024, the exclusive contract between Wonjin and Nature Space has expired. After lengthy and thorough discussions, we have come to a decision to respect Wonjin’s desire for a new chapter in life, rather than continuing with VI’ENX. VI’ENX members Yeung, Younghoon, and JN plan to continue their activities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Wonjin for his time spent with Nature Space, and we kindly ask for your encouragement and support as Wonjin embarks on a new journey.”

Fans of VI’ENX have been waiting for the group’s “official” debut since they were introduced in April 2023, releasing a digital single album titled “On My Way” the same month.

Since then, the group have had multiple live performances, including a hall tour in Japan, but have not released more music as a group. On top of this, the group’s leader, Uin, was removed from VI’ENX’s social media in February 2024, making many believe he was no longer a part of the group.

His exclusion from this new announcement seemingly confirmed this.

Fans have questioned the company, wondering how so many members have left before their “official” debut.
