IU’s Fans Go Viral For Their Unique Sing-Along At Her Concert — IU Reacts

Only she can do this!

IU continues her two-weekend concert H.E.R on March 9, 2024, in Seoul. The unique 360-degree venue helped let as many fans into the stadium as possible! It was not in vain, as it allowed her to turn the concert into a large-scale karaoke session!

During an intermission as she prepared for her encore set, the production team helped set up screens with lyrics to her song “Nagging.” Not only did they play the lyrics for the fans, they also separated it into parts for her female fans and her male fans. The original song is a duet between IU and 2AM‘s Lim Seulong. IU’s female fans sang her part, colored in pink, while her male fans sang Lim Seulong’s part in blue.

IU was absolutely blown away by her fans. She praised them for being the “world’s first ever” to do this! Even though fans usually sing along to their idols’ music, most do not separate the parts by gender. What’s more is that “Nagging” is not the easiest song to sing!

I can vouch for this. This is the first time ever in the world. The audience sings along in parts divided by gender? This is something like an accolade for me. I can meet my colleagues and brag that my fans sing along in parts divided by gender. And the song was even “Nagging.” You know that it’s really high right? This will totally become a heroic story I can brag about for life.
