TXT’s Yeonjun Can’t Hide His Honest Reaction Upon Hearing The Age Of UNIS’ Maknae
The reaction of TXT‘s Yeonjun to the birth year and age of a rookie idol is going viral.
On March 31, the TXT member hosted the weekly episode of SBS‘ Inkigayo. Part of the his job is introducing the groups who are about to perform, and he couldn’t help but show his genuine reaction to UNIS.
UNIS is an eight-member project girl group formed through the SBS reality show Universe Ticket. Their oldest member is 22-years old while their youngest is just 13 years old.
Seowon, their maknae, was 12 years old during the filming of Universe Ticket, and she officially became a teenager on January 27.
Yeonjun was seen zoning out slightly during UNIS’ introduction by the other MCs. As soon as he heard that Seowon was born in 2011, however, he couldn’t help but be shocked. With his jaw dropped, he realized just how young the current generation of idols is.
His reaction garnered over 15,000 “likes” in just a few hours.

TXT’s own maknae, Huening Kai, was born in 2002—a full nine years older than UNIS’ youngest member.
Though still surprised, he automatically moved to say his part in the script a second later like the professional that he is, introducing the group and their debut song “Superwoman.”
Seowon is the youngest active K-Pop idol. She even made headlines just last February for graduating from elementary school.
Though only 13 years old, she already has more experience as a singer than most of her members. She debuted as a soloist on April 24, 2021, with the single “어깨춤 (Shoulder Dance)” and even appeared on Miss Trot 2.
