A BABYMONSTER Member Is Being Called A “Filipina Queen” Thanks To Her Tagalog Skills
A Filipino fan was lucky enough to get an iconic video call with her idol!
On April 7, @BABYMONGLOBAL on X (Twitter) posted her Weverse FanSign Call experience online. She had an energetic chat with each member, and her call with Rami in particular went viral.
The fan was impressed with the way Rami immediately started the call with a greeting in her native language, Filipino. She waved while saying, “magandang gabi,” which translates to “good evening.”

Just as the fan commented “Oh wow” in surprise, Rami followed this up with another Tagalog sentence, asking her, “Kumusta ka?” She answered that she was good after the fan threw the question back at her, showing that she understood what she was saying.
Rami: Kumusta ka? [How are you?]
Fan: Okay naman ako, ikaw? [I’m doing okay, how about you?]
Rami: I’m good.
Rami shared that she went to three places in The Philippines in the past: Boracay, Cebu, and capital Manila.
BABYMONSTER just made their debut with title track “SHEESH.” Rami later gained attention for her incredible live vocals on SBS‘ Inkigayo. Read more about it below.
