LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Shares Video Of Doja Cat Flipping Off Audience, Sparking Debate Over Her Reason For Doing So
LE SSERAFIM‘s members have been caught up in an array of conversations lately following their performance at Coachella 2024 this past Saturday, most of them on the critical side. While there have been some fans defending their performance and singing at the event, the overall consensus seems to be that they continue to underwhelm when it comes to live vocals.
While some of the feedback is constructive criticism, however, a lot of people’s responses are just hateful and cruel. And some people think that Chaewon responded to these more insulting and harsh comments through a recent video she shared on her Instagram story.
The video is from Doja Cat‘s own performance at Coachella, and shows the soloist aggressively flipping off the audience.
According to some fans, Chaewon ended up taking the video down later on. But by then plenty of people had already seen the clip, and started making assumptions about Chaewon’s intentions for sharing that particular clip.
While there’s no way to know exactly why she chose a video of Doja Cat giving the middle finger, some think that it was a message to those who have been sending criticism and hate to LE SSERAFIM after their Coachella performance. On a similar note, others think that she might not have had that exact reasoning, but knew how it might be interpreted.
On the other hand, some fans think that people are reaching by assuming Chaewon meant anything hostile by sharing the clip, and that she’s simply a fan of Doja Cat.
We’ll probably never know for sure if there was a deeper meaning behind the clip that Chaewon shared, but if anything, it seems to have only negatively ignited people even more towards the group for being so evidently defensive of their heavily criticized performance.
