Thai Woman's Love Story With Two Chinese Men Leads To Tragedy

A love story featuring an unnamed Thai woman led to a tragic end.

On April 13, Thailand was abuzz with news that two Chinese men fought over the hand of a local woman. The woman, a resident of the province of Prachan Buri, led the men to believe they were in exclusive relationships with her. When one of the men called his girlfriend’s condominium, another man named Ku Yioiang answered the phone instead.

The latter challenged him to meet outside the woman’s room. Furious, the man on the phone took the bait and rushed to the condominium. A bloody altercation ensued, with the Chinese nationals stabbing each other.

Ku Yioiang fled the scene after landing multiple stab wounds on the unidentified man. He was later found at Kasemrad Prachin Buri Hospital after asking for treatment for a five-centimeter cut wound on his right hand.

The Thai girlfriend both men fought over was left with the unidentified man bleeding on her doorstep. She knocked on her neighbor’s door and asked for help, with representatives from the nearby hospital and police station soon coming over.
