ASTRO’s JinJin Releases Single Featuring The Late Moonbin, Members Leave Emotional Messages On First Anniversary Of His Passing
On the somber occasion marking one year since Moonbin‘s passing, his fellow ASTRO member and friend JinJin released a single featuring the late star. Meanwhile, the other ASTRO members all took to social media to share the song and leave emotional messages.
Moonbin, a cherished figure in the Korean entertainment scene, passed away on April 19 of last year at the age of 25.
As a gift to the many fans who miss the ASTRO star, JinJin released a new special single in which he sings with Moonbin. “Fly” was released on all streaming platforms and was accompanied by a mood film video posted on YouTube. The song is particularly significant as it was one of the last projects Moonbin collaborated on, featuring both his vocals and contributions from Jinjin, who penned and composed the track.
All the ASTRO members shared the track on their Instagram stories alongside short sweet messages towards Moonbin.

ASTRO’s Moonbin had a celebrated career, initially stepping into the limelight as a child model and actor. He famously appeared as a young TVXQ!’s Yunho in the music video for “Balloons” and had a role in the hit KBS 2TV drama Boys Over Flowers. In 2016, Moonbin made his official debut as a member of ASTRO and was also part of the sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha, engaging actively with international fans through various tours.
