ILLIT Achieves Their First Perfect All-Kill (PAK) Amid HYBE & ADOR Min Hee Jin’s Feud

The K-Pop community has been chaotic the last couple of days with the ongoing feud happening between HYBE Labels and ADOR‘s CEO Min Hee Jin. Accusations and criticism are being thrown left and right between the parties involved, and the K-Pop artists included in the feud seem to be caught in the crossfire. With ILLIT being accused of copying NewJeans (or rather, their producers and other staff involved in the process), the new girl group has had a rough introduction to the K-Pop industry.
Fortunately, however, ILLIT now has something to celebrate! Despite the feud, the rookie idols have achieved their first PAK with their debut song “Magnetic”, making them the second girl group after BLACKPINK to do so with a debut song.
The term PAK, or “Perfect All-Kill”, was first coined in 2010 when IU reached #1 on all Korean music charts with her song “Nagging”. A PAK is achieved when a song reaches #1 on all of the real-time, daily, and weekly charts in Korea, an accomplishment that is notoriously difficult.

“Magnetic” has been going pretty viral on social media platforms such as TikTok, so it’s not too surprising that it has achieved this milestone, but it’s still an accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated!
Here are how fans are reacting to the news.
Congratulations to ILLIT on this impressive achievement!
