With such high stakes and potential global recognition during international competitions, it’s no wonder why some of the athletes go on to see incredible success following their participation—and that couldn’t be more true for one of the South Korean figure skaters, Cha Jun Hwan.
The accomplished figure skater may only be 22-years-old (international age), but he has an impressive record and veteran status within the industry. Starting when he was just 7-years-old, Cha Jun Hwan began to take his figure skating excursions seriously. At just 10-years-old, he competed in his first ever championship competition, taking home the victory for the junior level at the 2011 South Korea Championships—and the rest is history.
Cha Jun Hwan started to sweep all of his competition under the rug with his natural talent and incredible skills. While he had previously competed at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics before, it wasn’t until his appearance at the 2022 Beijing Olympics that he started to gain popularity.
Once photos began to spread with different headlines, Cha Jun Hwan started to experience overnight success like never before. His big eyes and chiseled features started to get noticed by Korean netizens, but it didn’t take long for the nation to realize he looked like two “it” actors of our current generation
Upon further investigation, netizens realized Cha Jun Hwan looked like he could be a “love child” of the two main Nevertheless stars, Han So Hee and Song Kang!
Here is Cha Jun Hwan next to Han So Hee…
…and next to Song Kang.
It’s no wonder why this finding went viral online, as Korean netizens were left completely shocked after seeing the comparisons for themselves.
