Meet The Members Of JYP Entertainment’s Upcoming Boy Group, NEXZ
In 2023, the second season of the survival show Nizi Project aired, ending with J.Y Park selecting seven contestants to debut in a new boy group called NEXZ.
On April 30, NEXZ released a trailer titled “Ride the Vibe,” sharing their official debut date of May 20, 2024.
Here’s a brief introduction to each of the members!
1. Tomoya
Tomoya was born in Fukuoka, Japan and is the group’s leader. The 18 year old was a trainee at JYP for over 2.5 years and has been a dancer since his childhood.
2. Yu
Yu is a ’05 liner and the group’s oldest member. Yu was also born in Fukuoka, Japan and has always dreamed of becoming an idol.
3. Haru
Haru is a 06′ liner and was born in Osaka, Japan. He was a JYP trainee for around 6 months and is the “dance leader” of NEXZ.
4. So Geon
So Geun is an ’06 liner and had only learned basic dance for around a year.
5. Seita
Seita is another ’06 liner and was born in Saitama, Japan. He was previously a model and was a trainee at JYP for around 7 months, citing Stray Kids as his inspiration.
6. Hyui
Hyui is an ’07 liner and was born in Wakayama, Japan. He studied dance prior to becoming a trainee, and composes as a hobby.
7. Yuki
Youngest member Yuki is an ’07 liner who was born in Hyogo, Japan. He enjoys performing and has been dancing since he was a small child.
