Hitchhiker premieres intergalactic track “Ding Dong” with 88rising
SM Entertainment‘s hitmaker and talented producer Hitchhiker has released a brand new track specially for Netflix‘s original film XOXO.
Released exclusively through 88rising on October 27th PST, Hitchhiker delivers his signature “intergalactic” sound through the song “Ding Dong.” Along with the track’s release, he unveils an eccentric music video, identifying himself as the silver-robot suit dancing producer. He conceptualized and produced himself as artistic digital play on modern communication.
“Ding Dong” follows his SM STATION single “$10” released in September, which gives fans a look into how he incorporates influences from different belief systems into his work.
Hitchhiker has spawned worked with many talented K-Pop artists including Brown Eyed Girls (“Abracadabra”), BIGBANG (“Lie” Remix, “Strong Baby” Remix) Girls’ Generation (“Hoot”), f(x) (“Pinocchio”), BoA (“Game”), and more. He first debuted solo in 1996 before joining of the modern rock band Roller Coaster in 1999.
The music video is presented by new media platform 88 Rising, made up of award-winning creative visionaries from all over the world, who strive to bridge the gap between East and West.
