BLACKPINK’s Jennie And Stray Kids Rank In The Top 10 Most Influential “2024 MET Gala” Celebrities

BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Stray Kids are K-Pop artists who made a headlines at the 2024 MET Gala. The former wore a custom dress by the brand Alaïa while the latter donned Tommy Hilfiger suits.

Lefty, an influencer marketing platform, named these two artists in their list of the “most visible” celebrities who attended the 2024 MET Gala using the Earned Media Value metric.

Earned media value (EMV) is used to calculate the worth of publicity gained from a celebrity through unpaid promotions, often generated through word of mouth on social media platforms.

Over 263 stars attended the coveted event based on Vogue‘s “Red Carpet Look” list, and among them, Stray Kids was the 10th most influential. Lefty determined that they generated $1.6 million USD worth of earned media value through their appearance at the MET Gala.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie, meanwhile, ranked two spots higher at 8th. She generated a total of $2.4 million USD worth of earned media value, just behind American singer Sabrina Carpenter.
