While the image was definitely scary to see at first, and we hope Jisung gets well soon, it is not actually as frightening as it seems.
IV drips are used for a number of things, including delivering medicine in a way that is faster than taking it orally.
IVs can be medically needed when the digestive system isn’t working well, to receive more fluids than you’re able to drink, to receive blood transfusions, to get medication that can’t be taken by mouth, and for a host of other treatments.
— Robert H. Shmerling, MD of Harvard
IV drips are also used to rehydrate people, allowing them to recover faster from dehydration than through drinking liquids. In fact, IV therapy has been made readily available for individuals seeking to get rid of drinking hangover symptoms faster.
It appears Jisung’s IV was also being used to help him recover from possible dehydration, as discovered by a detective fan.
maybe there's other medicine in it so it's pink but this is the iv drip jisung's getting, i'm not sure what exact purpose it has for him and i'm not medically knowledged so i'll just share the description from a jpn website. i hope it's not that serious😥 take care jisung 🙏 pic.twitter.com/maUAtZs6Vz

Fans also reassured others of this, expressing this was done to help Jisung feel better as quickly as possible!
IV drips can help people recover from fatigue so this could help him maintain his composure for the following days. I understand how exhausting tours get for idols but I couldn't help but worry. Jisung, please take some real good rest and don't push your body too much. pic.twitter.com/bLlFR9Qg4k

i hope you guys understand that lots of (if not most) idols get iv drips all the time, especially when they’re on tour to keep them healthy!! doing concerts everynight is hard on your body https://t.co/7Iok25gEYp

people in the quotes who are worried…this is a preventative measure to make sure the boys stay hydrated and healthy over the course of multiple shows. it’s a smart thing to do and it’s done all the time with athletes and performers on the road or on tour. https://t.co/YcGeKI2JTy
