LE SSERAFIM Under Fire Once Again For Plagiarism As Netizens Discover 2017 Song That Sounds Like “EASY”
LE SSERAFIM just can’t seem to catch a break lately, as yet another accusation of plagiarism has been made regarding their latest title track “EASY”.
In fact, they’ve had so many different plagiarism accusations at this point that it’s been made into a list, with one of the more recent examples being how their track “Smart” sounding similar to Tyla‘s “Water”.
And in the midst of their ongoing criticism directed towards their live vocals at performances on music shows and at Coachella, netizens have discovered another example of their producers seemingly copying another artist’s song without given proper credit.
The song in question is called “Cliché” by artist Velous. It was released back in 2017, with the official lyrics video currently having around 200,000 views. You can listen to the two songs yourself below to hear the similarities between them, perhaps most notably the part around the 0:17 mark in “Cliché”.
As news of this alleged plagiarism has spread, the comments section of “Cliché” have become flooded with people mentioning “EASY” and the new controversy.
The plagiarism accusations were also shared on an online forum, where netizens had a lot to say about the allegations and LE SSERAFIM’s ongoing issues in the past several months.
