New Evidence That RIIZE’s Seunghan Is Attending Cram School To Retake College Entrance Exam
Seunghan was only active with RIIZE for less than two months when he ended up going on an indefinite hiatus after he got caught up in a series of scandals in November 2023. At this point, he’s been inactive for much longer than he was actively promoting with RIIZE, though it hasn’t been without many fans asking and even demanding his return.
Now that RIIZE’s members are on their fan-con tour RIIZING DAYS without Seunghan joining them, his potential future with the group is looking bleak. SM Entertainment still hasn’t shared an official statement regarding whether or not Seunghan will rejoin the group, but since he’s been on hiatus now for about a half-year, fans worries are only getting worse.
Back in April, a rumor sparked that has fans concerned that Seunghan had already left the K-Pop industry. According to an online source, the 20-year-old is preparing to take the entrance exam for a university. While this doesn’t explicitly mean that Seunghan is no longer a K-Pop idol — plenty of idols attend university while promoting, after all — the timing does make it seem that he could be turning his focus to his education rather than a career in the music industry.
And now, a month later, there has been more evidence released to support this claim. A photo was shared online that shows a student, allegedly Seunghan himself, walking with what appears to be a backpack full of something heavy, possibly textbooks.
This has led to greater speculation that Seunghan is attending a cram school in order to prepare for the college exam test. The guess is that he is focusing now on his education in order to move on with his life, leaving his short stint as a K-Pop idol behind.
Here’s how netizens are reacting to the new image.
Do you think this means Seunghan is done with RIIZE?
