Over the past few months, CARATs have shared concerns about a rise in hate towards the members and the amount of news/rumors released about SEVENTEEN.

Recently, it was revealed that Hoshi had bought a luxury apartment in cash.

A Sneak Peek Into SEVENTEEN Hoshi’s Luxury Apartment Bought In Cash

While fans were in shock at the luxurious apartment, one CARAT shared that in Korea, news like that isn’t always positive and can sometimes be taken negatively and used to hate on idols. It was also surprising as the news was revealed a year after Hoshi allegedly bought the apartment.

Around the same time, it was also revealed that Hoshi had a dog called Latte, and photos of Latte with TWICE‘s Momo were released from a few years ago.

While most netizens loved the SEVENTEEN x TWICE crumbs (although many pointed out it was probably Hoshi’s family at the same event), it did spark some “dating rumors” and although most were lighthearted, CARATs thought it was planned to hopefully create some controversy as dating is taboo in K-Pop.

On May 27, CARATs got even angrier when it was a university performance set to be attended by BSS sparked rumors that the members of SEVENTEEN didn’t allow people to use the bathroom without losing their spot in the queue.

BSS took a stab at the student council.
They said that the student council didn’t let people in line go to the bathroom because SEVENTEEN requested it, and one member of the group posted saying that the people need to use the bathroom.

After the allegations, Hoshi quickly came on Weverse to clear up any rumors, sharing posts reading, “We all need to go to the bathroom” and “And drink a lot of water.”

Considering all the news that had been leaked about Hoshi but also a wave of hate towards the group, including on topics like tickets for their recent Japan shows…

CARATs were worried about where all the sudden hate had come from.

Many continued to call out Pledis for not doing more to protect or stand up for the members.

SEVENTEEN have worked so hard since debuting from a small company to being one of the biggest K-Pop groups, and CARATs hate how they are suddenly being scrutinized.
