HyunA’s Instagram Posts Are Being Overwhelmed With “Burning Sun” Comments

A little over a week ago, BBC released a damning new documentary about the disturbing “Burning Sun” sex scandal that rocked the K-Pop industry back in 2019. The video revealed new disturbing information regarding some of the people involved in the case, especially as some of the artists involved have been trying to make a return to the public eye.
One of the people that got out of the scandal relatively unscathed is former HIGHLIGHT member Yong Jun Hyung. While his career certainly took a hit after it was revealed he was involved in some of the infamous chatrooms, he has managed to avoid any prison time until now.
However, opinions towards him soured after his involvement was revealed, and when it was announced that he and soloist HyunA were in a relationship earlier this year, she also started getting criticized for dating someone who was involved in the horrible scandal.
And while she does still have plenty of supporters, there are many fans who have distanced themselves from her and no longer support her or her work. That has become even more clear after the release of the BBC documentary, as every post that HyunA has made on her personal Instagram since then has tons of top comments about the “Burning Sun” situation and being disappointed in her.
This was the first post she made after the video was released, and though there’s no sign of Jun Hyung or anything involving him, the comments are brutal.

Yesterday she actually shared a post that some suspect might have been about a date she’d been on with her boyfriend, and it, too, had many negative comments.

It was the first of three posts she made yesterday, with this being another one…

And finally, her most recent post, which HyunA herself barely appears in, but the comments are still pretty similar.

Do you think this criticism towards HyunA is deserved, or is it going too far at this point?
