NewJeans’ Minji Posts A Suggestive Response After Min Hee Jin’s Injunction Win

On May 30, KST, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin received a favorable court ruling for the injunction she filed against HYBE, seeking restrictions on the conglomerate from using their shareholder rights for her dismissal. While netizens mostly celebrated the ruling, NewJeans member Minji also supposedly addressed the win tactfully.
During the ongoing rift between HYBE and Min, NewJeans members have continued communicating with fans through the Phoning app. Minji, in particular, previously sent messages reassuring Bunnies (NewJeans’ fanbase) amidst the anxiety surrounding the group’s future.
On the day of the verdict, a fan sent Minji a message on Phoning, seemingly rooting for NewJeans’ performance at the Sejong University Festival. In response, Minji wrote, “Sejong…University~~ Dongkuk University~~~Fighting! Haha.”

Netizens are convinced that Minji’s choice to separate the word “University” from “Sejong” was obviously a reference to Min Hee Jin’s court verdict, as Sejong is also the name of her legal representative in this case.
Minji’s subtle response to this huge milestone in ADOR’s legal fight with HYBE quickly went viral in Korea. One post on TheQoo praised the idol and garnered nearly 80,000 views and over 500 comments.
