K-Pop Idol Sends Message To Fans Celebrating Pride Month
June is Pride Month, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, including allies, are celebrating. LGBT Pride Month started after the Stonewall riots, gay liberation protests in 1969.
While South Korea is still quite conservative, many are still publicly celebrating. On June 1, the Seoul Pride festival occurred.
