“WakeOne Broke As Hell” — Kep1er Accidentally Expose The Company

Fans have some questions following this episode.

Recently, fans of WakeOne‘s survival show groups were given a treat when Kep1er‘s Yujin, Dayeon, Huening Bahiyyih, and Yeseo appeared on Inssadong Sulzzi with host former IZ*ONE‘s Lee Chaeyeon.

The idols chatted about several topics, including dorm life. When Chaeyeon asked about it, the Kep1er members replied that it was fun and shared that they were grouped with four or five people, revealing that many of their items were “hand-me-downs” from IZ*ONE.

When asked how they knew this, they explained that while cleaning, they found a note in the freezer that said “da best Hitomi,” indicating that the IZ*ONE member had lived there. Chaeyeon remarked they had things passed down too from other MNET groups like Wanna One.

Fans loved this bit of “siblinghood” between the groups, and the unexpected connection across the generations.

However, on the other hand, this raised questions directed towards WakeOne.

Wanna One debuted in 2017 and finished activities in 2019, meaning that some of the items being passed along are likely older than seven years.
