ARMYs Celebrate BTS Jin’s Military Discharge Like A Holiday

Who else is taking PTO to celebrate?

BTS‘s Jin is finally coming home, and everyone is preparing for his discharge from the military.

As his discharge also coincides with BTS’s 11th anniversary FESTA celebrations, the HYBE building has undergone a transformation, including “Apobangpo” written on the front. The word means “ARMY forever, Bangtan forever.”

Yet, it’s not just HYBE decorated for FESTA and Jin’s return. ARMYs have spotted an airport taxi with Jin-created character Wootteo on the sides.

But it’s not only Korea that is celebrating.

A video is garnering attention online. It shows a car parade driving through an Argentinian city, cheering excitedly for Jin’s return. The cars appear decorated with purple (BTS’s official color), Korean flags, etc., as Jin’s “Super Tuna” plays.

The video went viral on X (formerly Twitter) with 989.7K views at the time of writing. ARMYs worldwide are admiring the Argentinian ARMYs’ celebrations, wishing to join them.

Another video went viral with 353.4K views on TikTok at the time of writing. It featured Indonesian ARMYs, dressed in purple, waving lights while singing Jin’s “Epiphany.”

OP (Original Poster) joked that it’s like Jin’s discharge is an international holiday. Considering that many international ARMYs are even traveling, taking time off, and more for Jin’s discharge, it certainly should be an international holiday.

How are you celebrating?
