Hannah Bahng Nearly Debuted As A HYBE Girl Group Member

Fans wonder what could have been.

Before Hannah Bahng made her solo artist debut, she told her followers via a YouTube Q&A that she had no intentions of becoming a K-Pop idol, although she was the sister of Stray KidsBang Chan.

Yet, in a new interview, Hannah Bahng revealed she nearly joined a HYBE girl group.

The Zach Sang Show shared a new 50-minute interview with the Australian singer who just made her comeback with The Abysmal EP. In a now-viral clip shared via TikTok, Hannah explained how she was “almost” part of a HYBE group.

Hannah shared a story about how her now-manager discovered her via TikTok but didn’t contact her for another two weeks. In the same night, her manager contacted her, and she received an email from HYBE. Obviously, Hannah ultimately rejected HYBE.
