Back in 2016, BTS released a sketch called “House of ARMY” as part of their 3rd Muster fan club event. In it, the members dressed up as family members. Jin could have been given a role within the family, but no, instead he played a flower…

…a clock…

…and a banana.

The banana was not Jin’s idea. He had asked the staff to prepare a TV costume for him, but they went for something more appealing. 

As expected, Jin and Jimin (who was dressed as the family dog) couldn’t shoot this nonsensical scene without laughing. Years later, Banana Jin is still a popular meme, and fans aren’t letting him forget it!

An ARMY posted a photo of Banana Jin on the Weverse app, captioned, “Worldwide Handsome banana. You’re really handsome.” 

They didn’t expect Jin to see the post, but he did. Could his reaction be more relatable?
