BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has gained attention for her unconventional photoshoot, with netizens praising her for being innovative.
Over the years, Jennie has had some truly legendary photoshoots and editorials with various Vogue magazines from different companies, showcasing a variety of concepts and visuals.
On June 21 (local time), Vogue Korea released a new photoshoot and editorial with Jennie, but with a very different twist from what netizens expect. It was in collaboration with Chanel and focused on the jewelry aspect of the brand, yet Jennie was hardly seen in the photos, although they definitely centered on the idol.
The theme was definitely music, as old-style cassette tapes were shown.
There was a photo of Jennie holding a microphone with a bold red and white theme.
More aspects related to music, like headphones, sheet music, and a metronome became the focus of the photos.
The few amount of photos of Jennie only showed snippets, whether she was holding a photo from an old edition or just her hair with accessories from Chanel.
While it would initially seem odd, Jennie’s recent activity, including an advert for Beats by Dre, seem to show that everything she does is slowly pointing to a new release.
