Since October 2023, over 37K Palestinians, many of which are women and children, have lost their lives. 85,523 have been injured in Israel’s war on Gaza, with Palestinians staved, displaced, and having lost their homes, families, and friends. Many netizens are using their platforms to raise awareness and make a difference, and some celebrities, too, are speaking out.

At his recent Nanjing concert, Lay sang his new song, “Human In You,” from his debut English album STEP. The song’s message is about love, humanity, and world peace.

We’re all from the world. Love’s got no borders. When I hold you closer. I see the human in you. All from the world. Don’t forget that we’re family.

— Lay, “Human In You”

Fans noticed that, as Lay performed, the screens displayed not only live footage of him but photos of children around the world.
