An idol expressed his anger at a fan selling his photocards at what appears to be a ridiculously low price, especially in comparison to the price of the photocards for his fellow members.

The idol in question is Gao Guei, a member of idol hip-hop group U:NUS. The group debuted in 2023 through the audition show Atom Boyz in Taiwan.
Recently, a fan made a post selling the U:NUS members’ photocards. Although the acts of selling and trading photocards are quite common, this particular post caught the attention of Gao Guei himself.
As seen in the image, the fan is selling Gao Guei’s photocards for $50 TWD (about $1.50 USD) each, while the other members’ cards are priced significantly higher, with the most expensive one being $1,300 TWD (about $40 USD). This prompted Gao Guei to make a post, which is now deleted, on the matter.
Wow, damn. $50? Who are you looking down on?

While fans believed he was simply joking, netizens were not pleased with his reaction.
- “I heard the fans are claiming he was just kidding. To me, if he were just kidding, he would’ve responded with, ‘I’ll quickly transfer you the money and buy all of them.'”
- “Even BLACKPINK has photocards priced at $50. What is he so mad for? Does he think we look down on BLACKPINK?”
- “This is funny. Some people even say this is his style. Does that mean he can make inappropriate jokes and hate on others, just because it’s his “style?” How narcissistic would one have to be to act like this?”
- “Yeah, I’m looking down on him. I wouldn’t want the photocards even if he gave me $100,000.”
- “I feel bad for that young fan…she’s getting hated on even now.”
