On July 4, news reports revealed that Jennie has become the target of fat-shaming comments that criticized the idol’s alleged weight gain.
According to reports, Jennie recently attended an event for Chanel. For the event, the idol wore a sexy see-through top with lace shorts and stockings.
Although many netizens exclaimed how beautiful the idol looked, the report reveals that there were also many netizens who inappropriately criticized the idol for allegedly gaining weight.
Malicious comments stated that she must not take care of herself, that she looks like she’s gained weight, and that her face was chubbier.
