DPR’s New Lightstick Design Triggers Unexpectedly Racy Reactions
DPR IAN, DPR CREAM, and DPR ARTIC are soon embarking on DPR – The Dream Reborn World Tour 2024.
Although DPR are not K-Pop idols, the label has released a lightstick for this tour to elevate fans’ concert experiences.
The upcoming tour’s merchandise was revealed, including shirts and accessories.

The lightstick titled “DREAMLIGHT” was also unveiled.
It comes with a stand and star-patterned part that transforms the lightstick into a star-projecting nightlight.
Despite its cool concept, it was met with mixed reactions. Some thought the shape looked like the Olympic torch.

Yet, many also thought the design was giving NSFW. Some saw a resemblance to a sex toy.

In actuality, the lightstick appears to be a combination of popular bedroom nightlights, the lava lamp and the star projector.

Fans called their fellow fans out for their “dirty minds,” saying that the lightstick clearly looks like what it is intended for.
DPR’s lightstick will be available soon for whatever purpose you want. Yet, it will be in a limited quantity of only 10,000 lightsticks, as was visible on the lightstick boxes.
Sales start on July 15, 2024 at 0:00 AM EST (1:00 PM KST)
