On July 9, No Cut News reported that a player currently playing in the K-League has been charged by the police for maliciously spreading sexually transmitted diseases and has been forwarded to prosecutors.

According to the Gyeongi Siheung Police Department, the footballer was charged in May and had been forwarded to police on July 9. Suwon prosecutors reportedly have begun investigating the case.
