With this incident, Jennie’s illegal parking controversy from five years ago resurfaced online. She had illegally parked in front of a restaurant and asked them to grill the tripe for takeout at a place where customers usually cook it themselves.
At that time, the owner of the restaurant made an appearance on SBS Power FM’s Bae Sung Jae’s Ten and revealed the story.
A van pulled up to our restaurant at around 11 PM. I told them that if they parked there, they would get a ticket, and I told them to use a valet.

But someone who looked like a manager said, ‘It’s okay if we get a ticket.’ It’s the first time I heard anyone say something like that.

Then, two stylists and two managers came out of the car. They asked if the food could be prepared to go. It turns out it was a celebrity. I prepared the food and wondered who it was. It was BLACKPINK’s Jennie who came, so I thought it was okay for someone like her to do that.

On the other hand, Jennie is focusing on her solo career through her label, which she established last year.
