HYBE Reveals That ADOR Was Behind NewJeans’ Lack Of Participation In The Grammy Museum

Fans accused HYBE of “NewJeans erasure.”

Fans were riled up when it was revealed that NewJeans would not be a part of the special exhibit at The Grammy Museum. It was previously announced that HYBE would collaborate with The Grammy Museum for a special exhibition on its artists. HYBE: We Believe in Music, A Grammy Museum Exhibit is said to contain items from the company’s artists in one of the museum’s biggest exhibitions to date.

Following the announcement, fans were disappointed to see that while even KATSEYE, who is part of HYBE America, and Zico, who is more known as the CEO of KOZ Entertainment, would be featured, while NewJeans was conspicuously absent. They began terming it as the “erasure” of NewJeans.

It was belatedly stated to the media that NewJeans was left out of the exhibition due to ADOR’s decision. In a statement to Sports Kyunghyang, HYBE claimed that “the option of participation in this exhibition was decided upon by the label’s choice.

As such, following HYBE’s statement, it is not by HYBE’s decision that NewJeans will not be participating in the exhibition.
