SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu may be the best child ever. It was revealed recently that he gave his parents a huge cash gift. Even the other members were shocked to find out the amount.

On the most recent Parents’ Day, Mingyu gave his parents a whopping ₩500 million KRW (about $362,000 USD). That’s over a third of a million dollars! In South Korea, you can buy an apartment and more with that much money.

The members went wild at the review, while Mingyu himself shyly held up 5 fingers to indicate the amount. Even DK wanted to me his mom! Mingyu revealed that he split the total amount equally amongst both his parents.

Fans began to joke that Mingyu gifted his parents more money than some huge entertainment companies earn. In the last reported trimester, YG Entertainment only gained ₩300 million KRW (about $217,000 USD) in profits.
