NewJeans Reported To Take Legal Action Against HYBE
According to reports, NewJeans members are taking legal action against HYBE for releasing their trainee videos to the media.
On July 23, Dispatch dropped a bombshell report about ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin allegedly “stealing” the NewJeans members from Source Music to debut them under her own label, based on the advice of her shaman. This report included screen captures of private conversations involving Min, and some clips of NewJeans members during their trainee period.
ADOR responded to the report, refuting HYBE’s claims. In addition, the company also expressed its intentions to pursue legal action against HYBE for “manipulating personal messages” and releasing them to the public.
ADOR also stated that the parents of the NewJeans members are also taking legal steps against HYBE for releasing their pictures and videos from the trainee period.
NewJeans members and their parents are protesting against HYBE for unauthorized release of trainee videos and personal portraits.
