Actress Receives Severe Backlash For Seemingly Sexually Harassing Male Colleague
A popular actress’s inappropriate behavior with her male co-star has stirred up quite a controversy in Korea.
According to reports, on July 25, KST, actress Jeong Ga Eun had posted a picture showing her rehearsing for a play with her co-star. The two were in close contact in the photo, but Jeong’s hand was touching her co-star’s buttocks.
While posting, the actress also added an inappropriate caption along with the photo.

The actress’s post immediately caused a public backlash, leading to her deleting the post. Many netizens analyzed Jeong’s post, concluding that the photo, along with the caption, could constitute sexual harassment towards the male actor.
On July 27, following the public outcry, Jeong posted an apology on her Instagram.

Meanwhile, Jeong Ga Eun debuted in 1997 as a model and became popular through her variety show appearances, including shows like Infinite Girls and Roller Coaster. She married a businessman in 2016 but they divorced in 2018. Currently, the actress is a single mother.
