Taemin-Heechul Lookalike Had His Chance With SM Entertainment, Too, But Didn’t Even Bother
In the latest episode of Unpredictable Fortunetellers (also known as Ask Us Anything Fortunetellers or Mueosideun Muleobosal), a Korean high schooler came forward to discuss his “problem.”
Removing his baseball cap and revealing his “Dragonball hair,” as comedian Lee Soo Geun called it, the high schooler claimed he was frustrated about how untamable his natural curls and frizz were.
But it was not his hair that captured the attention of the show hosts and viewers. The high schooler’s SM Entertainment-vibe visual was highlighted…
…with the hosts mentioning actor Won Bin and Super Junior‘s Heechul as immediate lookalikes.
In fact, when asked if the entertainment business had ever approached him, the high schooler said someone from SM Entertainment handed him a business card in front of his school when he was a middle schooler.
He, however, didn’t bother contacting the management giant because he knew he didn’t “sing well.”
Mentioning traces of SHINee‘s Taemin and EXO‘s Kai (who also happen to be from SM Entertainment), too, viewers agreed that the high schooler 100% had a “SM Entertainment-preferred” look, and that—with the “treatment” K-Pop stars get—he could 100% pass as an idol.
- “I see Heechul and Taemin… It’s obvious why he was given the SM Entertainment business card, haha.”
- “He’s a cross between Taemin, Kai, and Heechul.”
- “I’m not sure about Won Bin, but I definitely agree that he got that SM Entertainment-preferred look. He looks like Taemin and Taemin’s lookalikes, LOL.”
- “Too bad he doesn’t want to debut. He looks much better than some members of RIIZE.”
- “His hair is fascinating, haha. But true. He has a handsome face.”
- “100% a face that SM Entertainment loves. But that hair…? Wow.”
- “Oh, for sure. SM Entertainment’s favorite face. LOL.”
- “If he’s 17 right now, he has a bright future in front of him.”
- “Wow, LOL. He’s right there in the SM Entertainment’s most preferred visual type.”
- “I see the whole SM Entertainment thing, haha”
The fortuneteller show hosts suggested keeping the hair short and more manageable to resolve the “problem,” reminding the high schooler of his good-looks and giving him the confidence boost he might have been needing!
