Byeon Woo Seok Makes First Public Appearance Since “Airport Security” Controversy
The recent airport security controversy has taken a toll on actor Byeon Woo Seok.
On August 5, he attended the VIP premiere of the movie Victory in Seoul. Although many celebrities attended the event and took pictures at the photo wall, Byeon opted out.

It was revealed that he did not stand for the photo wall and headed straight into the movie theater, leaving the photographers and reporters behind.
Many felt that as this was his first public appearance since the airport controversy, much media attention was on him.
He also recently updated his Instagram account after about a month.

Previously, actor Byeon Woo Seok’s security team received harsh backlash for its “over-the-top” behavior at the airport.
An online video revealed Byeon’s security guard using a flashlight at civilians to prevent them from filming. The video went viral online, with many criticizing the security team’s actions.
The security team CEO quickly admitted that “it was the security guard’s fault for having shone the flashlight” and “wished to deeply apologize for making civilians uncomfortable.”
Most recently, although Byeon Woo Seok’s agency issued an official apology online, they still received criticism from netizens.
