Suga has released a second apology. The police investigation into Suga’s drunk driving incident has now ended. Chosun Ilbo has reported that the Military Manpower Administration, Korea’s military governance office, would launch an investigation into Suga’s time as a social worker.

On August 7, Korea’s Office of Military Manpower Administration stated that BTS’s Suga would not face additional consequences for his actions.

He is not subject to punishment for damaging the military’s image due to the fact that the incident occurred outside of his working hours.

Previously, Suga was charged with driving under the influence for riding a seated electric scooter while drunk.
