BTS Jimin‘s father has changed the name of his café.
ARMYs are familiar with MAGNATE, a café in Jimin‘s hometown of Busan, as it is owned and operated by his father, Mr. Park.
Since opening its doors in 2019, many ARMYs have visited. They have enjoyed delicious drinks and sweets, while also checking out elements of Jimin, such as hats, on display. Some ARMYs also have had the honor of meeting Mr. Park, who is just as kind as expected of Jimin’s father!

Despite the café’s great reputation as MAGNATE, it has now rebranded. From here on out, MAGNATE is now ZMILLENNIL. The café’s official Instagram account has changed its name, and the sign outside has been switched out.
Mr. Park explained in the latest post via Instagram, showing the updated storefront. He revealed that an unrelated company had registered “Magnate” trademark, selling products under the name. So, he reiterated that they are unaffiliated, but to avoid confusion, the café has adopted the new name of ZMILLENNIL, which is representative of the MZ generation.

We have an important announcement for all our valued customers. Our cafe, previously known as “Magnate” in Busan, will be changing its name to “ZMILLENNIL.” This change is due to an unrelated company having registered the “Magnate” trademark and attempting to sell products under this name.

The name “ZMILLENNIL” combines “MILLENNIAL,” signifying a thousand years, with “Z,” representing the MZ generation. The owner chose this name to reflect our desire to build a long-lasting connection with the MZ generation.
