Popular actors Choi Daniel and Lee Hyun Jin will reportedly begin dating Japanese women.
On August 19, it was reported that actors Choi Daniel and Lee Hyun Jin will join TV personality Austin Kang on a dating show titled Dating Before Marriage (translated title from 혼전연애).
According to reports, the show will feature three Korean celebrities dating Japanese women. Recently, interracial couples between Korean and Japanese partners have become much more prevalent in both countries.
This isn’t the first time that Japanese and Korean singles were coupled together. Recently, Eye Love You, a drama about a Japanese woman and a Korean delivery driver, became one of Japan’s biggest hits in 2024. Also, Netflix’s Love Like A K-Drama is a dating show with Japanese and Korean participants.
