Yonhap News Releases New CCTV Footage Of BTS’s Suga
BTS‘s Suga was previously caught drunk driving an electric scooter on August 6, 2024.
It was reported that he was found by the police, and the police detected alcohol on him, taking him to the nearest station. They discovered a 0.227% alcohol level in his bloodstream. Investigations are currently underway.
Following the incident, JTBC posted footage they claimed was of Suga and the incident, but it was later proved to be false. After admitting it was fake footage, the outlet apologized during a broadcast.

After the mistake was clarified, new footage of Suga was released from the outlet DongA Ilbo, showing the idol in a white t-shirt and riding on the sidewalk.
On August 23, Yonhap News released new CCTV footage of Suga driving his electric scooter.
On the same day, Suga spoke to the media about his drunk driving incident at the police station.
