Popular Third-Generation Idol Blasted For “Having No Affection” For Group — Fans Demand She Leaves Team
OH MY GIRL‘s Mimi is under fire for allegedly not caring about the group.
On August 26, a post titled “OH MY GIRL’s Mimi Is Pissing Me Off” went viral. The post has since been viewed over 180K times.
In the post a netizen goes off on a rant, criticizing Mimi for allegedly being selfish, citing the fact that she uploaded a YouTube video around the same time the group’s comeback video was uploaded.
She uploaded a YouTube video at the same time the group’s comeback video was uploaded. She took it down after she got criticized for that. What really pisses me off is the fact she doesn’t seem to have any affection for the team. When the other members celebrated each other’s birthdays, she only focused on her own Instagram posts. It’s not just once or twice; for example, she didn’t post anything for Arin’s most recent birthday. When Hyojung did her first musical, all the other members went to support her, but she said she was too nervous to attend. It seems like she’s closer to a local elementary school kid in the neighborhood than to her own team members, constantly posting reels with that kid and matching couple items with their mom. She makes it seem like she was unfairly treated when she wasn’t popular, which is false. It is only now that she’s doing so well, that I don’t want to like her. When fans criticized her both online and offline before, she responded by changing her profile to “You should worry about yourself” or something, engaging in a standoff with fans. Her stupidity is just infuriating. While this isn’t directly her fault, it’s frustrating every time she says something ignorant. Maybe it’s because I have a negative view of her, but everything she does now seems off. Lastly, when re-signing the contract, the other members did it in their 6th year, while she did it in her 7th year. I don’t understand why she even renewed the contract if she was going to act like this. The recent rap part and styling issues are also frustrating. The teaser was so shocking that my positive thoughts about her group activities completely fell apart.
In conclusion, if you want to stand out on your own and don’t have any affection for the team, just leave. It’s too hard to make excuses and pretend everything is fine.
