Alleged Former ADOR Employee And Victim of Sexual Harassment Files Lawsuit Against Former CEO Min Hee Jin
Following their resignation — which was reportedly due to allegations of sexual harassment and workplace bullying — a former employee of ADOR has filed a civil and criminal lawsuit against the company’s ex-CEO, Min Hee Jin.
On August 27, the person — identified only as “A” — lodged a complaint with the Seoul Mapo Police Station against Min.
The charges in this complaint include defamation and breaches of the Personal Information Protection Act. This legal move follows Min Hee Jin’s release of an extensive 18-page statement, which was her response to the accusations of harassment and bullying that had surfaced earlier.
In addition to the criminal complaint, “A” has also filed a civil lawsuit for damages at the Seoul Western District Court. According to statements made to JTBC, the lawsuit centers on allegations that Min interfered in the investigation of workplace bullying claims despite her duty to ensure an impartial and thorough examination. Furthermore, “A” accuses the former CEO of disclosing confidential information obtained during the investigation.
The civil lawsuit also encompasses the charges of insult, defamation, and violations related to personal information, which are part of the criminal case filed with the police.
This legal battle only adds to the scrutiny surrounding ADOR as the former employee seeks accountability for the alleged mishandling of the situation.
