NCT Members Unfollow Taeil, Photos Removed On Instagram After Sex Crime Accusations

Several NCT members have unfollowed the now-former NCT member Taeil. Member Taeyong removed pictures with Taeil from his Instagram account immediately after SM Entertainment announced that Taeil had been removed from the group due to a sex-related crime.
On August 28, 2024 (KST), SM Entertainment released a statement on their social media accounts explaining Taeil’s removal. They disclosed that Taeil has been implicated in a criminal case related to a sexual crime. The company shared that due to the severity of the situation they have decided that Taeil will be removed from the group.

Soon after this announcement, both NCT and NCT 127‘s Instagram accounts unfollowed Taeil’s personal account. Taeyong did the same shortly after.

Taeyong also deleted several photos with Taeil he had shared on his personal account. He removed three pictures that included Taeil from a post shared on April 15 during his military send off.
