FNC Entertainment’s “Exclusion” And Major “Mistreatment” Of SF9’s Zuho Spark Fury

It has got worse as months have gone on.

Earlier in the year, FNC Entertainment got hit with major criticism for the mismanagement and mistreatment of their groups SF9 and Cherry Bullet.

In 2023, it was announced that Zuho would no longer be signed under FNC Entertainment for his solo schedules, but the company reassured fans that it wouldn’t impact his role in the group. However, netizens quickly voiced that this was far from the case.

Initially, it started with FNC removing Zuho’s facial recognition, meaning he couldn’t access the building, along with stopping his access to the group’s YouTube channel, the only way the members could do live broadcasts with fans.

Netizens noticed that he was no longer mentioned in the content and that his birthday wasn’t celebrated.

For many, one of the biggest issues came with the recent comeback of the track “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” It was announced that only five members would be participating and while Dawon and Jaeyoon‘s omission due to military enlistment was expected, the lack of information about Zuho not being present was infuriating for fans. In particular, Zuho’s Instagram post following the announcement seemingly showed his frustration.

Yet, Zuho proved his love for SF9 as he continued to support the comeback, whether it was reacting to the teaser or sharing the teasers on his personal account.

Recently, it was announced that SF9 would be doing a special event to celebrate their 8th anniversary, but it was revealed that only 6 members would be participating. While Dawon would not have been able to due to his recent enlistment, Zuho’s omission angered netizens.

If that wasn’t enough, after the announcement, Zuho revealed that he hadn’t been contacted by the company and seemingly didn’t know that he wasn’t going to be involved.

Fans have shared threads on Zuho’s mistreatment and many are worried that FNC is trying to push the idol out of SF9, a group that he loves so much.

For many, Zuho’s love for SF9 is even more than FANTASY (the fanbase), and it is heartbreaking for fans to see the mistreatment and how the idol is being mistreated despite promises that nothing would change.
