While most groups will read signs during concerts, fans love the reactions from the members when reading their signs, so there are more than at the standard show.

However, a sign read by the idol during the group’s Oakland concert has sparked discussions online.

During the concert, Jaemin was spotted reading a sign held by a fan that made a joke about his cat ownership. The sign read “Jaemin loves p*ssy,” and included photos of Jaemin with his three cats.

The original meaning of the word “p*ssy” is cat, but has transformed to be a crude way of referring to a person’s vagina. The sign seemed to be a play on this, attracting attention for this reason.

The original poster shared the video clip online, and was immediately met with criticism from other fans.

Some even considered that the sign could be sexual harassment, with others warning about the “cultural differences.” Others felt the sign was not a big deal, and was just a joke.

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM have five more concerts in America before moving on to Europe.
